Who is the event open to and who can sign guests on base to attend?
The event is open to anyone with base access. Those who normally have escorting privileges will be able to sign guests onto base.
The Exception to Escort Authority Policy: The exception to policy grants temporary escort authority for MOD, RAF, and LNDH individuals assigned to RAF Lakenheath who possess a valid MOD 90 or CAC. The authority allows personnel to escort only their immediate family (i.e., in-laws & direct parents, spouse, and children) onto the installation for the sole purpose of attending Liberty Fest 2025. In accordance with Department of Defense policy, no more than 10 individuals will be sponsored by a single ID holder.
Passes can be obtained from the RAF Lakenheath Visitor Center next to Gate 1 beginning 22 JUN 25. Proof of a visitor’s identity prior to installation access must be made. This will consist of producing any of the following forms of photo identification: any official photo ID, driver’s license, or passport. Parents/legal guardians may provide any of the following credentials for the purpose of identity proofing for persons under the age of 18 who do not possess a photo ID: original or certified birth certificate, school record, or report card. Guests 10 years of age or older require a pass. Guests younger than 10 years of age do not require a pass but still count toward the number of personnel escorted.
What spaces will be available to cool down on the day of the event?
There will be covered festival benches that are open to the public to have a seat, take a break, and cool off.

I am a nursing mother. Where can I feed my baby?
The USO will serve as a Lactation Center for the duration of the event.
